Hi I’m Freya.

I LOVE motorbikes. Motorbikes are my special interest & I have lots of toy motorbikes I collect, all my t-shirts have motorbikes on them.

Minnie (my bunny) and I both have our own helmets. I wear mine when I go out in the car to look for motorbikes and around the house. I wanted to wear it when I go horse riding, but my coach said “absolutely not”.

Motorbikes make me very happy, when I am happy and see motorbikes I like to stim. I get what my mum calls my happy hands and make happy noises.

One of my favourite things to do is get mum to drive me around the Peak District so I can look for bikes. It makes me very happy when they overtake our car. I ask every day if I am big enough yet to have a real life motorbike. I am going to ride my motorbike to work and to the Isle of Wight when I’m big enough. I like to watch videos of motorbikes on You Tube.

I am autistic (so is my big brother -ADHD and epilepsy- and my mum is as well - she only found out 18 months ago). I also have a speech sound disorder which makes talking tricky sometimes. But that’s ok I usually sign using Makaton to get my point across when that happens. I am really excited to see lots more motorbikes this year.
